The tube section defines the feature layout.

Tube components need information around the section as well as along the length. A flat view can leave feature orientation or end geometry unclear.

Section & wall thickness

Specify round or rectangular section dimensions, wall thickness, stainless steel grade and overall cut length.

Feature position & orientation

Show hole and slot locations along the length and around the section. Identify the reference face or angular direction and any opposing features.

End profiles & fit-up

Describe angled cuts, mating profiles and assembly features. Include clearance, joining and finished-condition requirements where relevant.

Drawing review for tube parts

Use a dimensioned tube drawing with enough views to explain the component. Simple straight concentric circular tubes can be previewed with explicit outside and inside diameters and axial length. Tubes with side holes, slots, shaped ends, steps or rectangular sections need technical review. A preview does not confirm a tube-cutting process or quotation.
